I worked with Emily whilst I was a student at the end of my second year. I found Emily to be very approachable and friendly. She had a great rapport with her patients and their families and always took the time to make sure that they was comfortable and answered any questions they may have. When it came to medications, she was very knowledgeable and any medications i was unsure of, she would go through them with me and explain the uses and common side effects. She was also very thorough with safety checks before administering any drugs. When it came to carrying out tasks such as dressings or setting up intravenous infusions, she would always keep the patient informed at every step of the process and rigorously follow infection control procedures. Emily is a great team player and made sure that she would offer help and support to her colleagues. Overall, Emily is a great nurse and provides safe and effective care to her patients at all times. As a student, i found Emily to be a shining example of qualities that all nurses should possess. I would like to thank her for her time and kindness and wish her the very best for the future.

Emily was attentive and quick to respond when called. She kept me calm when I went into shock and reassured me when I needed it most.

She was very friendly and helpful, and made sure I was helped as soon as possible. She came round regularly to check if my medicine was done so I could leave as soon as possible.
